Alexa Grasso is making noise in the women’s flyweight division.

The Mexican standout continued her gradual climb up the rankings with a unanimous decision triumph against Viviane Araujo in the UFC Fight Night 212 main event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Not only was it Grasso’s first venture into a five-round bout, but it was also her fourth consecutive triumph since moving to 125 pounds from strawweight. At the very least, Grasso is now on the radar of reigning flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko, though she may need at least one more victory to receive a title shot.
