The Insane Prop Bets of UFC Fight Night 150

UFC Fight Night 150 on Saturday in Sunrise, Florida, was an entertaining event that featured a number of surprising outcomes, particularly on the main card. A number of profitable prop bets cashed out, the five biggest of which provide the nuts and bolts for this edition of Insane Prop Bets.

Jack Hermansson Wins by Unanimous Decision (+975)

Hermansson showed he was a middleweight title contender in the main event, as he took a hard-fought unanimous decision from Ronaldo Souza. The Swede’s striking was sharp throughout the five-round affair, and he also managed to win the ground battle against “Jacare” to net the most significant win of his career. The prop on Hermansson winning by decision hit at a robust +684, but even better was the prop on his winning by unanimous decision, which cashed at +975 odds.

Mike Perry Wins by Decision (+550)

Perry put forth one of the better performances of his Ultimate Fighting Championship run, as he captured a decision over Alex Oliveira in the “Fight of the Night.” Perry lost Round 1 but made solid adjustments as the three-round welterweight feature went on and managed to take the second and third rounds for a strong win at 170 pounds. The prop on Perry winning by decision hit at +550.

Glover Teixeira Wins in Round 2 (+525)

The light heavyweights put on a show, as Teixeira survived an early knockdown at the hands of Ion Cutelaba to come back and finish “The Hulk” with a rear-naked choke in the second round. Despite being 39 years old, Teixeira has shown in his recent fights that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank, with back-to-back submission wins over younger opponents in Cutelaba and Karl Roberson. The UFC has used Teixeira as a gatekeeper, but he remains a contender at 205 pounds. The prop on Teixeira winning in the second round hit at +525.

Gilbert Burns Wins in Round 2 (+420)

Burns showed off his sensational ground game with a second-round submission of UFC newcomer Mike Davis in an undercard scrap at 155 pounds. Burns has fallen in love with his striking in recent years but went back to his bread-and-butter skills for this fight. It proved to be a wise decision, as he tapped Davis with a rear-naked choke. The prop on Burns winning in the second round cashed at a cool +420 number.

Takashi Sato Wins in Round 2 (+375)

Sato enjoyed a successful UFC debut with a brutal second-round knockout of veteran Ben Saunders in a preliminary welterweight encounter. Sato actually lost the first round -- he was not able to figure out the range of the lanky Saunders -- but made the adjustment in the second and managed to catch “Killa B” on the chin. He dropped Saunders with a punch, then pounded him out with elbows and punches on the ground for the TKO. The prop on Sato winning in the second round cashed at +375.
