Cory Sandhagen’s precise striking made all the difference against Yadong Song.

The Elevation Fight Team member halted a two-fight skid in the UFC Fight Night 210 headliner, winning via doctor stoppage after four rounds at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday. An elbow from Sandhagen cut Song badly over his left eye early, and the wound proceeded to get progressively worse as the fight progressed. The cageside doctor advised referee Herb Dean to wave off the contest before the fifth round. Song, who fought valiantly while wearing a crimson mask, sees a three-bout winning streak snapped in defeat.

Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC Fight Night 210, with statistics courtesy of UFCStats.com:

94: Significant strikes landed by Sandhagen. By comparison, Song landed 54. Sandhagen outlanded his adversary 19 to 14 in Round 1, 21 to 15 in Round 2, 29 to 13 in Round 3 and 25 to 12 in Round 4. Sandhagen landed 62 significant strikes to the head, 17 to the body and 15 to the legs. Eighty-six of Sandhagen’s 94 strikes were landed at range.

130: Total strikes landed by both Sandhagen and Song.

1: Takedown landed in 14 attempts by Sandhagen. While he was largely unsuccessful in his attempts to get Song to the canvas, Sandhagen later revealed that the goal was to keep his opponent guessing and limit his knockout power with the consistent wrestling threat.

68: Combined significant strikes landed by Chidi Njokuani (36) and Gregory Rodrigues (32) in Round 1 of their middleweight co-headliner. Rodrigues was credited with the fight’s only knockdown in the frame, while Njokuani held a 25-to-17 advantage in significant clinch strikes landed—including one knee that opened a nasty gash on his opponent’s forehead. Rodrigues would go on to take Njokuani down and unload with ground-and-pound for the stoppage in the second stanza.

10: Career victories in UFC competition for Andre Fili, tying him with Alexander Volkanovski and Jose Aldo for fifth most in the history of the division. Fili captured a split decision over Bill Algeo in a featured 145-pound bout.

151: Total strikes landed by Algeo. By comparison, Fili landed 67. That figure included a 74-to-16 edge in Round 3, where Algeo landed numerous punches with Fili attached to his back.

3: Consecutive KO/TKO victories for Joseph Pyfer, who sent Alen Amedovski to his fourth straight defeat with a first-round stoppage in a featured middleweight affair.

8:01: Total control time for Rodrigo Nascimento in a split decision over Tanner Boser at heavyweight. The Brazilian also landed three of seven takedown attempts.

163: Total strikes landed by Boser. By comparison, Nascimento landed 91. Boser also held a 62-to-36 advantage in significant strikes landed.

8: Takedowns landed in 14 attempts for Anthony Hernandez in a third-round submission victory against Marc-Andre Barriault at middleweight. It is the second straight bout in which Hernandez has landed eight takedowns. “Fluffy” also logged 8:45 of control time in winning his third consecutive promotional appearance.

14: Fighters in UFC history to earn victories in three different weight classes. Trevin Giles joined this group with a three-round verdict over Louis Cosce at 170 pounds. Giles has also secured wins in the Octagon at middleweight and light heavyweight.

35: Combined significant strikes landed by Giles (25) and Cosce (10) in what was an action-starved, 15-minute affair.

.710: Significant striking accuracy for Konklak Suphisara in a decision victory against Denise Gomes at strawweight. “Loma Lookboonmee” landed 48 of her 67 significant strikes in the bout. Gomes, meanwhile, connected on 19 of 34 attempts—a 55% success rate.

42: Significant leg strikes, out of 71 total, landed by Trey Ogden in a unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Daniel Zellhuber at lightweight. Zellhuber landed 12 significant leg strikes and 52 total in defeat.

8: Flyweight victories for Gillian Robertson in UFC competition, the third most in the history of the division behind only Valentina Shevchenko (nine) and Katlyn Chookagian (nine). Robertson submitted Mariya Agapova in the second round of their preliminary 125-pound matchup.

7: Finishes in UFC bouts for Robertson, the third most among women in the promotion, regardless of weight class. Only Amanda Nunes (10) and Jessica Andrade (eight) have more.

35: Significant strike deficit for Robertson, the second-largest for a winning female fighter in UFC history. Agapova held advantages of 39-4 in significant strikes and 84-7 in total strikes in defeat. Agapova notably held a 25 to 0 edge in significant ground strikes landed.

2-0: Record for the Basharat brothers at the UFC Apex this week. After Farid Basharat earned a UFC deal with a unanimous decision win over Allan Begosso at Dana White’s Contender Series on Tuesday, Javid Basharat outpointed Tony Gravely in a welterweight bout on the UFC Fight Night 210 undercard.

47: Significant strikes by which Basharat outlanded Gravely. He also successfully defended 11 of his opponent’s 13 takedown attempts.
