By The Numbers: Lina Lansberg vs. Mayra Bueno Silva

They may have numbers beside their names, but they would undoubtedly like to improve their standing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Ranked women’s bantamweights will do battle when Lina Lansberg collides with Mayra Bueno Silva in the featured UFC Fight Night 219 prelim on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. A former Superior Challenge champion, Lansberg climbs into the Octagon on a three-fight losing streak and in search of her first victory in more than three years. She last fought at UFC 280, where she wound up on the wrong side of a three-round majority decision against Karol Rosa. Silva, meanwhile, has rattled off back-to-back wins since her unanimous decision defeat to Manon Fiorot in 2021. She last competed on Aug. 6, when she disposed of Stephanie Egger with an armbar just 77 seconds into their UFC on ESPN 40 encounter.
