Longtime veteran Clay Guida was enjoying a resurgence of sorts against unbeaten prospect Brian Ortega for almost three rounds.

Guida’s striking looked better than ever and he was getting the better of the exchanges and looked to be a step ahead of the younger fighter from the start. But with the fight slipping away, Ortega rocked “The Carpenter” with a pair of knees to the head, rocking Guida in the process. But only knowing how to fight going forward, Guida was plastered by another crushing knee to the face, knocking him out with just 20 seconds remaining in the final frame.
