RFA 44 Weigh-in Results: Thiago Moises, Zach Freeman Cleared for Title Tilt

Resurrection Fighting Alliance returns to St. Charles, Mo., for another night of mixed martial arts action Friday evening and the Las Vegas-based promotion’s lightweight title will be on the line. Thiago Moises will defend his crown against Zach Freeman in the main event of RFA 44 inside the St. Charles Convention Center, with AXS TV televising the action live beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

At Thursday’s weigh-ins, both main event combatant easily made the lightweight limit, giving their showdown the greenlight. Freeman was the first to the scale and he came in just under the limit at 154.9 pounds. The Brazilian was up next and he nearly identical to his foe; Moises clocked in officially at 154.8 pounds.

The co-featured bout will be a flyweight battle between Nick Urso and Ken Porter. Both men were on point; Porter tipped the scale at 125.9 pounds while Urso checked in at 125.5
