Bellator Veteran Matt Bessette to Fight Tito Jones at CES MMA 33

Bessette will take on Tito Jones at
CES MMA 33, the promotion announced early Thursday. The event will
be held at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I. on March 11 and
will be televised live on AXS TV.
Bessette, who went 6-2 in Bellator, is coming off an impressive first-round heel hook submission win over Kevin Roddy at Bellator 144. The win came on the heels of a shocking 39-second knockout loss at the fists of Lenny Wheeler at CES MMA 30 in.
Jones is a former Golden Gloves champion who has bounced around the MMA circuit for several years. Having already competed for Strikeforce and the IFL, the striker is aiming to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to Timur Valiev at WSOF 23 in September. He had gone 4-1 leading up to that bout.
CES MMA 33 will be headlined by the bantamweight championship between Andre Soukhamthath and Kody Nordby. AXS TV will air the action live starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
