TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross are back for Thursday's "Beatdown" on The Sherdog Radio Network. They discuss Wednesday's UFC Fight Night results, the WFA buyout, and speak with IFL coach Carlos Newton (Pictures).

The landscape of mixed martial arts has shifted in the last week. With Zuffa acquiring the rights to Quinton Jackson (Pictures) and others under WFA contract, the news that Mirko Filipovic (Pictures) has decided to fight in the UFC, Showtime announcing its first fight card on Thursday and bodogFIGHT dropping hints it will promote a big-money fight, it is a very exciting time in MMA. TJ and Josh talk about what is going on and who is winding up where.

Former UFC welterweight champion Carlos Netown will take on Renzo Gracie (Pictures) on Dec. 29. Newton talks about his experience coaching the IFL's Toronto Dragons, returning to active MMA competition, and rematching Gracie, whom the soft-spoken Canadian defeated in 2003.
