Monster Episide: Beatdown Celebrates Anniversary

TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross are together again for the 100th episode of "Beatdown" on The Sherdog Radio Network. They discuss the 60 Minutes piece on mixed martial arts, which aired Sunday night on CBS; Friday's Strikeforce card at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.; the upcoming Diego Sanchez (Pictures)-Joe Riggs (Pictures) card; latest news regarding the World Fighting Alliance; and last but not least an exclusive interview with Kevin Randleman (Pictures).

Kevin "The Monster" Randleman (Pictures) is coming off of a tough loss to Maurico Rua in October. But the big news came afterwards, when the Nevada State Athletic Commission notified Randleman that his post-fight urinalysis returned a dubious result: his sample was either synthetic or came from a dead person.

TJ and Josh ask Kevin about the result and the pending hearing with the NSAC. Randleman talks about his life and career as a fighter. "The Monster" also touches on a confrontation that happened over the weekend in Las Vegas with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (Pictures).

Sherdog.com columnist and host of "The Savage Dog Show" Greg Savage was cage-side for Friday's Strikeforce card. Greg joins TJ and Josh to breakdown the results. Greg also discusses his recent experience in New Mexico watching Diego Sanchez (Pictures) prepare for Joe Riggs (Pictures).
