Gary Shaw Talks MMA on "Beatdown"
Thursday's "Beatdown" features TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross touching on many of the current
events in mixed martial arts. Fight promoter Gary Shaw joins the show to discuss his debut mixed martial arts card early next year on Showtime.
Shaw has made a career putting on some of the largest fights in boxing history. On Feb. 10, Renzo Gracie (Pictures) and Frank Shamrock (Pictures)
come together for Elite XC's main event. Shaw discusses his plans in MMA and clarifies the much-discussed 15-second ground fighting rule that
was touched on at last Thursday's press conference in Hollywood, Calif.
