Buentello and Leben on "Beatdown"
TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross are back for Thursday's edition of "Beatdown." Joining
them are "The Head Hunter" Paul Buentello (Pictures) and "The Crippler" Chris Leben (Pictures).
Leben competes one week from today against Jorge Santiago (Pictures) on SpikeTV's UFC Fight Night card from Las Vegas. Coming off of a
tough loss to the hands of Anderson Silva, Leben talks about what he learned from it and how he plans on getting on the winning
track once again. Leben, a veteran of the wildly popular reality show The Ultimate Fighter, talks about the fame and exposure
coming from the show and voices some displeasure over the state of his contract.
Buentello has had his last few fights in the UFC. After three wins and a loss to former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski (Pictures), Buentello
is now out of the UFC. Ironically outside of the UFC is where he will fight a UFC legend in David Abbott. "The Head Hunter" will
do battle with "Tank" this October in Strikeforce and Buentello talks about his decision leave the UFC as well as his choice to take
a fight against Abbott.
