Beatdown: Royce Gracie

TJ De Santis and Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross were live Monday afternoon for two hours on The Sherdog Radio Network. Joining them was Sherdog columnist Mike Sloan and mixed martial arts pioneer Royce Gracie (Pictures).

Seven years ago the sport of mixed martial arts witnessed a historical bout between Royce Gracie (Pictures) and Japanese star Kazushi Sakuraba (Pictures). The fight went over 90 minutes only coming to a halt due to the fact that Gracie was unable to come out for the seventh round. On June 2nd the two mean will meet again, this time in the K-1 promotion. Gracie joins TJ and Josh to discuss the upcoming rematch, how he feels about the man that has defeated three of his family members.

Sherdog.com's Mike Sloan was in The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this past weekend for the WEC show. Sloan talks about the event, the successful title defense for Doug Marshall (Pictures), and what he sees for the future for Jason "Mayhem" Miller.
