A battle of light heavyweight contenders is set for Bellator 200, as Phil Davis and Linton Vassell will square off in London on May 25.

The promotion announced the pairing on Tuesday. Bellator 200 takes place at the SSE Arena and features a middleweight championship tilt between Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi as well as a welterweight showdown pitting Michael Page against David Rickels. The card will be televised via tape delay in the United States on the Paramount Network at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

Davis, the former 205-pound champion, won his first four bouts in the promotion before relinquishing the title to UFC rival Ryan Bader at Bellator 180 in June. “Mr. Wonderful” rebounded from that defeat in his most recent outing, outpointing the previously unbeaten Leo Leite at Bellator 186 on Nov. 3.

Vassell, meanwhile, bested Emanuel Newton, Francis Carmont and Liam McGeary to earn a shot at Bader’s belt at Bellator 186. “The Swarm” came up short, however, losing to Bader via second-round technical knockout. The 34-year-old Englishman is 7-3 during his promotional tenure.
