Brian KnappAug 04, 2023

The Professional Fighters League will kick off its postseason with PFL 7 on Friday inside the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, where semifinals in the featherweight and light heavyweight divisions are scheduled to get the playoff blood pumping. Two-time NCAA All-American Bubba Jenkins continues his quest for a $1 million prize in the headliner, as the top seed at 145 pounds locks horns with Jesus Pinedo.

PFL 7 “Jenkins vs. Pinedo”—which airs live on ESPN and streams to ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT—also features the second featherweight semifinal pitting Gabriel Braga against Chris Wade, a lightweight showcase matching Elvin Espinoza with Keoni Diggs and the two light heavyweight semifinals, as Joshua Silveira meets Ty Flores and Marthin Hamlet faces Impa Kasanganay. The undercard streams to ESPN+ at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, as a welterweight clash between the undefeated Thad Jean and Syndicate MMA’s Ali Omar anchors the preliminary festivities.
