DWCS 2023, Week 8 features one of the greenest fighters to appear on the Contender Series, as well as some of the most experienced.

The five matchups set to take place for the consideration of the titular Ultimate Fighting Championship president include some of the better-established regional prospects not to have appeared on the show already, including a scrap between a couple of bantamweights with a combined 40 bouts’ worth of experience in Vinicius de Oliveira and Victor Madrigal. Russian heavyweight mauler Alexander Soldatkin (14-3) will carry an 11-fight win streak, all but one of them inside the distance, into his co-headlining tilt with the undefeated Mario Piazzon (7-0).

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Carli Judice (3-0) will be stepping up on just nine day’s notice to face Ernesta Kareckaite (4-0-1) in a matchup of undefeated flyweight hopefuls. Judice, barely 11 months removed from her professional MMA debut, is a former boxer of both the traditional and bare-knuckle variety, and has won all three of her pro fights by first-round knockout. Despite the short notice, the 30-year-old Louisianan will enter the tilt with Kareckaite as a comfortable betting favorite.

DWCS 2023, Week 8 takes place on Tuesday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and streams live to ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
