It’s safe to say that Carlos Condit is back.

The Jackson-Wink MMA standout showed no ill effects from reconstructive knee surgery, as he put forth a violent and versatile effort in stopping Thiago Alves in the UFC Fight Night headliner at Goiania Arena, in Goiania, Brazil, on Saturday night. After two rounds of punishment, including a barrage of elbows that smashed Alves’ nose, the cageside physician decided enough was enough.

In winning his first fight in 640 days, “The Natural Born Killer” re-established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the welterweight division, as well as a fighter who racks up impressive striking figures inside the Octagon.
