When the official result in the Sherdog Fight Finder reads “No Apparent Reason,” you know something is not quite right. In reality, there was an important reason why Goodridge tapped out against Neto at Universal Vale Tudo Fighting 6.

The two heavyweights gunned for the knockout, and while Goodridge appeared to be fighting a little harder than Neto, he was not doing any real damage. Several minutes into the match, Goodridge slid out of the ring and had to jump back in. They scrambled on the ground, with the Canadian draped over Neto, circling to his right and trying to take him out. Neto exploded to his feet and popped “Big Daddy” with a right hand to the head. Neto then pressed Goodridge into the ropes and clinched. Soon after, Goodridge tapped for no apparent reason.

Goodridge congratulated the Brazilian and then rushed backstage. Later, it was revealed that Goodridge had been under the weather and defecated during the fight.
