5. Quinton Jackson


Whether it was the power bomb slam with which he dispatched Ricardo Arona, the rolling right hook he planted on Chuck Liddell or the jagged left hook he fed to Wanderlei Silva, violent delights always seemed to follow the man they call “Rampage.” Jackson rose to prominence under the Pride Fighting Championships banner, where he vanquished Igor Vovchanchyn, Kevin Randleman, Murilo Bustamante and a host of others between July 29, 2001 and Feb. 26, 2006. He arrived in the Ultimate Fighting Championship a year later, avenged an earlier defeat to Marvin Eastman and then claimed the light heavyweight crown with his stoppage of Liddell at UFC 71. Though his reign ended after a successful title defense against Dan Henderson, Jackson has kept himself relevant at 205 pounds to this day. The only man to defeat Liddell twice, he has gone on a five-fight winning streak since his January 2013 loss to Glover Teixeira.
