The fact that both fighters are still in the early stages of their MMA careers should not put a dampener on people’s expectations of what this fight could produce. While grappling fans should probably look away those who enjoy the stand-up side of the sport should find plenty to enjoy. Both men are two-time Lethwei Gold Belt Champions with each fighter raking up over 50 lethwei bouts. While ONE rules prohibit the use of head-butts, which are commonly used in the uniquely Myanmar martial art, viewers can expect to see a high-level striking contest unfold. The fact that the two compatriots will battle it out in front of their countrymen and women only adds to the bouts appeal. It may not be a fight that has a lot of meaning regarding the overall picture of the strawweight division, but it will make an entertaining start to the main card.
