John Makdessi vs. Pat Audinwood

Unbeaten at 7-0, Makdessi has a solid kickboxing background and has blown through extremely modest opposition, winning via knockout in his first six bouts against foes with a combined record of 12-17. He did decision two-time WEC veteran Bendy Casimir in his last match, however. Nicknamed “The Bull,” he fights like you’d expect, and has a good set of kicks along with an aggressive style.

Stylistically, Audinwood is his polar opposite. The man nicknamed “Awesomely Awesome” holds a record of 9-1-1, with five submission victories and no wins via knockout. Audinwood fell pray to Thiago Tavares in his big show debut at UFC 119, but first-time performances are subject to all sorts of butterflies and variables that tend to get smoothed over with experience. Tavares was also far more experienced and, as a compact grappler, was a bad style matchup for the lanky Audinwood.

We’ll flip a coin here and go with “The Bull” by second-round knockout.
