Etim waited a long time for 17 seconds of ecstasy. In his return from close to a two-year layoff, the former Cage Gladiators lightweight champion and four-time “Submission of the Night” award winner coaxed a tapout from an overzealous Faaloloto with a first-round guillotine choke in a lightweight feature at the LG Arena. Etim stunned the Hawaiian with snapping punches and leg kicks, prompting him to dive on an ill-advised takedown. Faaloloto wandered right into the guillotine, as Etim jumped guard, wrenched the choke and forced the concession.
