Fisher and Stout were made for each other, and that was never more apparent than in the second of their three head-to-head meetings.

“The King” emerged victorious and avenged his 2006 defeat to Stout with a unanimous decision in the UFC Fight Night 10 main event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Fisher was awarded 30-27 marks from all three judges following three rounds of non-stop action. FightMetric statistics told only part of the story, as the two lightweights combined to throw 528 strikes at one another across 15 minutes.

Neither man seemed willing to budge. Fisher was the aggressor at the outset, as he threw more, landed more and connected at a higher rate than his Canadian counterpart through the first two rounds. Perhaps sensing he was behind, Stout made a furious run at the Miletich Fighting Systems standout in Round 3, where unleashed 118 total strikes, 116 of them significant. “Hands of Stone” had emptied his clip, but the decision belonged to Fisher.
