Nong-O Gaiyanghadao (256-54-1) vs. Mehdi Zatout (75-38-1)
ONE Super Series Muay Thai, Bantamweights

Easily the pick of the card’s ONE Super Series bouts, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao vs. Mehdi Zatout provides Nong-O with yet another opportunity to showcase his talents to a global audience. The 31-year-old is considered one of the top pound for pound Muay Thai fighters in the world. Nong-O who trains out of Evolve MMA has accumulated multiple titles throughout his successful career. As a four-time Lumpinee Muay Thai world champion, Rajadamnern Muay Thai champion, two-time Thailand national champion, and two-time Fighter of the Year there is little left in the sport he has yet to accomplish.

The Thai national made his ONE debut back in April at ONE: Heroes of Honor where he comprehensively defeated Frenchmen Fabio Pinca via unanimous decision. He will find himself facing off against another Frenchmen this week, in the form of Mehdi Zatout.

The 35-year-old Zatout is based in Thailand and fights out of Venum Training Camp. A former ISKA and WBC champion, Zatout has also claimed multiple national titles. He made his ONE debut in June at ONE: Spirit of a Warrior, fighting in a kickboxing bout and fell to Thailand’s Tukkatatong Petpayath via unanimous decision. It would be a brave soul to bet against Nong-O getting the win in front of his home crowd, and one would expect to see the Thai with his hand raised at the conclusion of the bout.
