TUF 10: Sims Ousted

Wes Sims, one of the zaniest fighters ever to be featured on “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series, was eliminated from the competition on the latest episode. The UFC veteran was choked out by Justin Wren via arm triangle in the first round.

Wren, thought to be one of the favorites to win the entire season, helped Team Rashad further expand its embarrassing lead over Team Rampage to 5-0. Coach Quinton Jackson was at a loss for words during the taping but blogged at length about his lack of coaching ability on his personal Web site.

The episode also focused on the shoulder-injury theatrics of Matt Matrione, who is developing into one of the season’s heels.

The episode scored a 2.2 share rating for 2.8 million average viewers -- about the same number as its predecessor -- on Spike TV. The number is strong and does not represent the dramatic post-Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson dip that was expected.
