Lytle was a source of consistent entertainment during his 20-fight run in the UFC. A former Cage Rage champion who also fought in Pancrase and World Extreme Cagefighting, “Lights Out” landed 1,533 strikes inside the Octagon.

A six-time “Fight of the Night” winner, he posted victories over Matt Brown, Matt Serra and Dan Hardy while also engaging in memorable battles against Robbie Lawler and Thiago Alves. Lytle enjoyed five different UFC fights in which he connected with more than 100 total strikes. He landed a career-high 212 of them in his three-round unanimous decision over Paul Taylor at UFC 89 on Oct. 18, 2008 in Birmingham, England.
