2. Michael Bisping

Bisping’s run in the Ultimate Fighting Championship has been marked by consistency, adversity and perseverance. His five hours, 48 minutes and 40 seconds of Octagon time stands as a testament to his resolve, durability and staying power.

“The Count” burst on the global scene in 2006, when he won Season 3 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series. In the 10-plus years that have passed since, Bisping has bounced back from devastating losses to Luke Rockhold, Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson to become the winningest fighter in UFC history. However, the Englishman seemed destined to be remembered as a perennial bridesmaid prior to a remarkable 2016 campaign that saw him defeat the great Anderson Silva before upsetting Rockhold to claim the middleweight crown in their UFC 199 rematch.

Bisping last competed at UFC 204 on Oct. 8, when he took a five-round unanimous decision from Dan Henderson, successfully defended his 185-pound championship and avenged a brutal 2009 knockout loss to the former two-division Pride Fighting Championships titleholder.
