Spectacular knockouts, slick submissions and dominant champions generate talk around the water cooler, but nothing rocks the fight world like a monumental upset. When the unthinkable happens, it sets the MMA community abuzz for days, weeks, months and sometimes years.

In wake of one of the biggest shockers in MMA history at UFC 193, the latest installment in the Sherdog Top 10 series features the 10 greatest upsets to ever occur inside the Octagon of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Some of the upsets listed here might not seem all that extraordinary in hindsight, but when they happened, they were earth-shattering moments.
