Sherdog’s Top 10: One-Round Fights

Patrick WymanJun 03, 2015

Travis Browne and Andrei Arlovski punctuated an excellent card at UFC 187 with a one-round slugfest for the ages. In honor of their contribution, the latest installment in the Sherdog Top 10 series will take a look at some of the best single-frame fights in the history of the sport.

These one-round wonders run the gamut from the early days of Brazilian vale tudo to 2015’s Ultimate Fighting Championship bangers, with a strong contingent of 10-minute Pride Fighting Championships single-stanza masterpieces in the middle. Longer is not always better in the world of MMA, and some of the best fights ever have not required more than a single round.

How does your list stack up? Let us take a look at how the Sherdog.com staff voted.
