Nate Diaz has for years been one of the most entertaining, successful and controversial fighters in mixed martial arts, as his journey has taken him from through World Extreme Cagefighting, Strikeforce, “The Ultimate Fighter” and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Diaz posted arguably the most significant victory of his 12-year career at UFC 196, where he filled in as a short-notice replacement for Rafael dos Anjos and submitted Irish superstar Conor McGregor with a rear-naked choke. The Stockton, California, native will meet McGregor for a second time in the UFC 202 main event on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
