Combatants in the fight game all work to achieve the same goal: to one day become a world champion. Only a few fighters from each generation rise to all-time-great heights, but many become world champions. However, in order for that to happen, someone one of the opposite side of the cage or ring must lose.

Sometimes title fights are competitive -- think Daniel Cormier-Alexander Gustafsson and Robbie Lawler-Rory MacDonald -- and sometimes, well, they are not.

The latest addition to the Sherdog Top 10 series examines the most disastrous title shots in history, highlighting championship bouts in which challengers found themselves painfully outgunned and outclassed:
