Not everything in sports is as clean as a whistle. Throughout the years, countless circumstances have left viewers outraged by dirtier tactics that have taken place in competition, from the illegal chop block in the NFL and bean balls in Major League Baseball to Mike Tyson munching on Evander Holyfield’s ear in boxing. MMA has not been immune, either.

For the latest installment in the Sherdog Top 10 series, Sherdog.com staff and contributors went to great lengths to unearth the dirtiest deeds ever committed in mixed martial arts. There are multiple offenders listed and others who have gone rogue seemingly out of the blue. How does your list compare?
