One of five men to have held the World Extreme Cagefighting welterweight championship, Carlos Condit will celebrate his 30th birthday on April 26.

The “Natural Born Killer” last appeared at UFC 171 in March, when he suffered a serious knee injury in a second-round technical knockout loss to Tyron Woodley at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas. It was Condit’s third loss in four outings. Despite his recent drought, the Jackson-Wink MMA representative remains one of MMA’s most potent offensive fighters, with 27 of his 29 career victories coming by knockout, TKO or submission. Wins over former Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz, South Korean judoka Dong Hyun Kim, Tristar Gym representative Rory MacDonald and Reign MMA’s Jake Ellenberger anchor his outstanding resume.

Condit fought for the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight crown in November 2012, losing a unanimous decision to Georges St. Pierre at UFC 154 in Montreal.
