Showtime will bring another tripleheader of boxing action on Saturday and an intriguing junior welterweight battle will the anchor to the event. Former 140-pound world champion Ruslan Provodnikov (25-4, 18 KOs) will lock horns with John Molina Jr. in the main event, which goes down at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York.

At Friday’s weigh-ins, all of the fighters on the main card were able to make weight, giving the card the green light. Molina Jr. (28-6, 23 KOs) was the first to step to the scale and he nailed it, officially coming in at 140 pounds. “The Siberian Rocky” followed suit by making weight as he tipped the scale right on the division’s weight limit as well.

Demetrius Andrade (22-0, 15 KOs) will take on Willie Nelson in a 12-round WBC 154-pound title eliminator. Nelson (25-2-1, 15 KOs) clocked in at 154 pounds as did Andrade, a former WBO junior middleweight champ before he was tripped of the belt due to inactivity.

Live coverage on Showtime will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with a showdown between Dejan Zlaticanin (2-0, 14 KOs) and Franklin Mamani (21-2-1, 12 KOs) for the vacant WBC lightweight title. Zlaticanin officially weighed in at 134 pounds while Mamani measured 133.5.

If that’s not enough action, directly preceding the fistic fireworks on Showtime will be a special telecast of the featured undercard bouts on Sho Extreme. Headlining the telecast will be Willie Monroe Jr. taking on John Thompson in a middleweight scrum. Monroe Jr. (19-2, 6 KOs) weighed in officially at 160 pounds while Thompson (17-2, 6 KOs) clocked in at 159.

Coverage on Sho Extreme will go live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
