HBO Boxing After Dark is set for another night of action from the StubHub Center in Carson, California The main event will see Francisco Vargas defend the WBC junior lightweight championship against Orlando Salido over 12 rounds.

Salido (43-13-3, 30 KOs) had previously captured the WBO and IBF featherweight world titles but the grizzled Mexican veteran hasn’t officially won a pro fight since September 2014. “Siri” is coming off two stellar wars with Roman Martinez where he lost his WBO strap in the first match via decision and then settled for a draw in their rematch last September.

Salido is hoping to add another championship to his collection when he takes on his fellow countryman on Saturday and at the weigh-ins on Friday, he looked fabulous. Salido officially weighed in at 130 pounds.

Vargas, meanwhile, is looking to be successful in his first world title defense. Vargas (23-0-1, 17 KOs) captured his crown by knocking out Takashi Miura in November, a brawl that was considered by most as one of the best fights of 2015. At the scale on Friday, he nailed it, coming in at 129.6 pounds.

The card will air live on HBO starting at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT.
