Boxer Adrien Broner was arrested in Ohio on Jan. 11 for drunken driving after refusing to take a breathalyzer test.
According to a report from Cincinnati.com, Broner was pulled over at 1:30 a.m. in Sharonville, Ohio, while driving his Mercedes and when asked if he would submit to a breathalyzer, Broner refused. This decision could wind up resulting in his drivers license being suspended for up to a year if he is convicted.
"It's very early in the process. He maintains his innocence," Broner's attorney, Will Welsh, told Cincinnati.com.
Broner has since plead not guilty to the charges, requested a trial by jury and is due back in court on April 9.
