WADE JOHNSON: COUNTRY’S NEXT RISING STAR

(PRESS RELEASE) -- As MMA’s popularity continues to grow, it’s safe to say that country’s next rising star may not be from the music industry when Wade Johnson steps into the V3 cage on January 18.

Johnson (5-0) loves to fish, hunt, go mudding, and everything else outdoors. However, he loves knocking out opponents and making them submit equally as much. On January 18, he faces the biggest challenge of his career when he takes on Craig Johnson in the main event on V3Fights’ first ever, professional card.

Johnson is from Bradford, AR and fights out of BARATA MMA. He got started in MMA because of his brother who trained a little and growing up taught Wade a few things and together would watch old UFC fights. A few years and five professional fights later, and Johnson is the most dangerous fighter to come out of Arkansas. When asked about his upcoming fight, here is what Johnson had to say: “I think my opponent Craig Johnson is going to come to fight and I think it will be one heck of a show. I don’t know a lot about the guy except he is a good wrestler, but my striking should be my advantage. It’s awesome knowing I got the chance to fight on V3’s amateur shows and main event them and now I get the chance to be the main event on their first pro card. It’s awesome and I never expected that.”
