Pudzian’s ex-rival and former UFC champion faces Karol Bedorf at KSW 26

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Owner of a spectacular MMA record of thirty-one wins and ten losses, American Tim Sylvia will face Karol Bedorf at the upcoming KSW 26 event on March 22nd in Warsaw’s Torwar Arena.

Weighing over one hundred and thirty kilograms and two meters high Sylvia is a former two-time UFC heavyweight champion and the icon of international mixed martial arts. Polish MMA fans know him from his 2010 encounter with Mariusz Pudzianowski, whom he defeated at the Moosin show via second round stoppage.

Presenting his professional resume, you cannot forget to mention the impressive list of his opponents, which includes Fedor Emelianenko, Andrei Arlovski, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Ricco Rodriguez, Randy Couture and Jeff Monson to name a few.

Sylvia began his professional career in 2001 and was undefeated in his first sixteen MMA outings. He made his UFC debut in 2002 at UFC 39. He became the champion for the first time in only his second bout for the promotion.

The American will square off against one of the best Polish heavyweights and the KSW champion Karol Bedorf. The Berserkers Team Szczecin and Ankos Zapasy Poznań product will face his toughest against the former UFC star. Bedorf has not competed against such renowned heavyweight in his career so far.
