Redemption at Last
Having gone 40 minutes with Harrison in their first two meetings, Pacheco finally got the job done against the decorated judoka. Pacheco went the distance in the 2022 PFL women’s lightweight final and authored one of the biggest upsets of the year, earning a unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten American Top Team star. It served as Harrison’s final appearance in the PFL, as she departed for the UFC following the loss. Pacheco’s success continued into 2023, where she moved down to 145 pounds and won all four of her fights, two of them in less than a minute. She took on Marina Spivac in the 2023 PFL women’s featherweight final and laid claim to a five-round unanimous decision, becoming the first two-division champion in the promotion’s history.
