Sandmeier, 30, has finished all eight of his foes inside the first round, seven of them by submission. The Knoxville, Iowa, native last competed at Iowa Challenge 79 in February, when he needed all of 27 seconds to coax an anaconda choke-induced tapout from Ron Imhoff. Sandmeir has 27-, 32-, 77- and 90-second finishes on his ledger.
