Gorman, a 30-year-old Des Moines, Iowa, native, has secured six of his eight wins by knockout or technical knockout, four of them in less than a minute. He has not competed since November, when he put away Tom Ahrens with second-round punches at a Midwest Championship offering; the win brought the 5-foot-4 Gorman the MCC featherweight crown.
