The 43-year-old former two-division Pride Fighting Championships titleholder put away Mauricio Rua with a right hook to the face and subsequent ground strikes in the UFC Fight Night 39 headliner on Sunday at Nelio Dias Gymnasium in Natal, Brazil. Henderson closed out his rival 91 seconds into round three, putting the brakes on the first three-fight losing streak of his career.
