Lightweight contenders Beneil Dariush wasted no time in getting back on the winning track by completely dismantling the larger James Vick and knocking him senseless in the opening round.

Dariush was all over his taller foe and when he drilled him with a left hook that turned Vick’s legs to gelatin, the Iranian never relented until the fight was over. A wicked overhand left exploded on Vick’s head during the onslaught, dropping him for good. The official time of the knockout came at 4:16 of the frame.
