Gustafsson on Mousasi Fight: ‘It’s Not Going to a Decision, That’s for Sure’
UFC light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson recently spoke with Sherdog.com contributor and MMAViking.com writer Ryan O’Leary at the grand opening of Allstars Training Center in Stockholm.
Gustafsson will square off against former Strikeforce titleholder Gegard Mousasi when the UFC returns to Sweden in April, and while “The Mauler” is expecting a tough fight, he believes it’s one he can finish.
“Gegard is by far the most dangerous opponent so far. He’s young and he’s hungry, and he has a lot of fight experience. It’s gonna be interesting to see. ... I’ll win the fight, no doubt. I’ll win the fight. And how I’ll win... it’s not going to be a decision, that’s for sure, because two decisions in a row is too much. ... I want to go for a finish, I’m gonna finish and I’m gonna win the fight. But Gegard is the toughest opponent so far, so it’s gonna be a great fight.”
